Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is gearing up to begin the Dharma Porata Deeksha in Vizag as a protest for the demand of the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

He has already held Dharma Porata Deeksha in Tirupati and now all arrangements are made in Visakha Andhra University Engineering College for the Deeksha to be conducted today.

According to the sources, Chandrababu is planning to hold the Deeksha in all the places from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to fulfill during the bifurcation of the State.

The Chief Minister will be explaining to the public as to how the BJP government has cheated AP along with playing PM Modi’s speech video clippings at Deeksha for the easy understanding of people.

Massive arrangements are being made for the Deeksha to mobilize 1.25 lakh people from all over the district. Over 500 policemen are deployed at the venue for security.

Apart from Chandrababu, a host of TDP leaders, all the Cabinet Ministers, party Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members will attend the public meeting. Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa, TDP State president K Kala Venkata Rao, Ministers Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, and K Atchennaidu, Sujana Chowdary and P Ashok Gajapati Raju, and IT and Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh are among the 13 to address the meeting.
