YSRCP MP and party senior leader Vijaysai Reddy accused the vice cancellor of the Andhra University of caste bias. He said the VC had denied permission for the YSRCP to hold a meet on the AU premises, but allowed the TDP to conduct a meeting due to caste considerations.

He said the Visakhapatnam vice chancellor Yogananda too were biased on caste lines and accused him of using the police as TDP workers.
He said that a police officer named Kumar had in fact assaulted on him, Vijay Sai alleged. He said such cops would have to face action once YSRCP came to power.
On Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, he said that Ganta is known to be a party-hopper and joins any party that has chances of coming to power. He said Ganta was in touch with the YSRCP too.
