Rajamahendravaram: TDP state president and Minister Kala Venkat Rao has opined that the people will support Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in 2019 elections. Naidu is an able administrator and saviour of the state.
Participating in East Godavari district Mini Mahanadu held in Subhamastu auditorium here on Wednesday, he said TDP had lost 15 Assembly seats because of election alliance with the BJP in 2014 elections. The YSRCP, BJP and JSP colluded with one another, he alleged and said they were trying to tarnish the image Naidu with baseless allegations.
He charged YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy with hampering the development of the state by accusing the state government on one pretext or the other. He was a power monger and how could the people believe him who was main accused in many cases and going to the court every Friday. He had no interest in the development of the state and his main aim was to become Chief Minister of the state. Reddy was supporting BJP to come out of the cases and YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy was roaming around Prime Minister's office in New Delhi in this regard.
He appealed to the people to support TDP in the ensuing elections and elect 175 MLAs and 25 MPs from the state to mount pressure on the Central government to
get our share in everything.
Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa said Naidu was working for 18 hours a day for the development of the state as well as for the wellbeing of the people. JSP, YSRCP and BJP had colluded and trying to grill Naidu in various ways.
All these murky attempts would do no damage to the TDP. Though BJP was instigating JSP chief Pawan Kalyan on many things, no voter would be influenced by Pawan Kalyan. “There will be no future for anybody who sails with the BJP in the ensuing Assembly elections. TDP will win in all 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats,” he predicted.
