Kadapa: General body meeting of the Zilla Parishad (ZP) has passed a unanimous resolution on Thursday, demanding the NDA government to set up steel plant in Kadapa for providing employment to the youth. The meeting took a decision that all political parties should exert pressure on the Central government for sanctioning steel plant to Kadapa district.

Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Ch Hari Kiran said that the Kadapa district is suitable for establishing the steel plant. He stated that various committees appointed by the Modi government had submitted reports to the Centre in favour of the district.
