As a step towards digital transformation and enhancing transparency in the administration and systems, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) - Visakhapatnam Steel Plant ushered in a new mode of administration by introducing e-Office Management (Mission Mode Project) in tune with the national e-Governance programme. 

Visakhapatnam: As a step towards digital transformation and enhancing transparency in the administration and systems, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) - Visakhapatnam Steel Plant ushered in a new mode of administration by introducing e-Office Management (Mission Mode Project) in tune with the national e-Governance programme.

Chariman cum Managing Director of RINL P Madhusudan inaugurated the e–Office Management System on Saturday in the presence of directors and senior officials of the company.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhusudan stated that it is a good move for the company to bring paperless office system in the plant for enhancing transparency in work place management.

He expressed happiness that RINL has become the first among steel PSUs in launching the e-Office administration.

He complimented information technology department for taking forward the digital operations and migration to new environment of paperless office.

RINL Directors PC Mohapatra (Projects), P Raychaudhury, (Commercial), KC Das (Personnel), VV Venugopal Rao (Finance) and PK Rath (Operations) were present on the occasion.

In his welcome address, General Manager (IT and ERP) KVSS Rajeswar Rao highlighted the benefits of the new system. Deputy General Manager (IT) Suman Das made a presentation of the implementation of the new system in the plant.

The e-Office system is built as a single reusable system by bringing together independent functions and systems under a single framework to enhance transparency, increase accountability, assure data security and data integrity, saves energy and time from unproductive procedures and transforms work culture for the better.
