But Aadi Thalli Farmers Producers Organisation at Thotapalli village in Garugubilli mandal in the district is selling the big size Banginapalli mangoes at Rs 30 per kilogram. Even the organisation has engaged an auto and selling the fruits nearby villages.
The organisation is procuring the mangoes from the members of this organisation and ripening in a natural manner and selling at a lesser price.
Dr D Pari Naidu, the founder of the FPO, said: “Mango growers are not using fertilizers and chemicals.
We collect the naturally grown mangoes from those members and ripening them in our godowns in a natural way and selling them in nearby villages and weekly bazaars at a cheaper price. Our aim is to promoting the natural farming and to habituate the people to consuming those organic mangoes. Even the consumers are happy to have those mangoes as they are tastier and in high quality”.
