GITAM University Vice-Chancellor Prof MS Prasada Rao said that data analysis is playing a key role in each and every sector even in academic research.
Visakhapatnam: GITAM University Vice-Chancellor Prof MS Prasada Rao said that data analysis is playing a key role in each and every sector even in academic research.
Inaugurating a faculty development programme on advanced research methods and Data Analysis organised by GITAM Centre for Learning and Sustainability at GITAM Campus on Tuesday, he said how Cambridge Analytica announced the advanced results using data analysis during the US presidential election campaign and the Brexit referendum campaign in 2016.
The Vice-Chancellor briefed that data analysis is giving accurate results in medical and engineering fields. The teaching and research are backbone to every university and the research outcome would show a significant impact on society and also improve the world rankings.
Prasada Rao advised that scholars must use simple words with in-depth meaning while presenting their thesis or scientific papers. GITAM Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof K Sivaramakrishna, Centre for Learning and Sustainability Director Prof SS Prasada Rao were present.
