Garg addressed the three-day workshop on ‘AI and deep learning’ at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), the institutional collaborators in Andhra Pradesh.

Tirupati: The Royal Academy of Engineering, UK, under the Newton-Bhabha Fund, and collaborated by University College, Brunel University, London, and Bennett University, India, plans to skill one million students in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in two years and to set up 100 quality research groups under 100 zonal lead colleges, said Prof Deepak Garg, Director (AI), Leadingindia.ai, which is a nationwide initiative on ‘AI and deep learning skilling and research’, approved by the Royal Academy.

Garg addressed the three-day workshop on ‘AI and deep learning’ at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), the institutional collaborators in Andhra Pradesh. He explained AI’s significance and what needs to be done for the country to emerge as a global power. As many as 65 faculty members from various colleges, Principal Dr C Yuvaraj, coordinators Komala, Kiran were present.
