Employees staging a protest in front of the Collectorate in Nellore on Thursday, demanding Sarvepalli MLA K Govardhan Reddy to tender an apology to District Collector R Mutyala Raju

Nellore: Members of the AP Revenue Association and the District Gazetted Officers Association members gave an ultimatum to the Sarvepalli MLA K Govardhan Reddy to tender an apology to District Collector R Mutyala Raju, otherwise, they warned to go on mass leave on Friday.

They staged protests across the district and in the Collectorate. JAC Chairman CMVRC Sekhar Rao announced that they would be going on mass leave on Friday extending solidarity to the District Collector.

He said employees and teachers across the district would take part in the protest and appealed to others to extend their support to them. Association members staged protests in front of their offices on Thursday wearing black badges
