Kurnool: Chess competitions organised for the students of Keshava Reddy School here at Chittari Street on Friday, on the occasion of the International Chess Day. Students have participated in the contest with enthusiasm. Later, the winners were presented with prizes.
School director N Bharat Reddy said that their students are excelling in state and national-level chess competitions. Taking inspiration from Viswanathan Anand, Koneru Humpy and Harika, students of Keshava Reddy are practicing chess, he added. Dean Mallikarjuna Naidu, zonal in-charge M Avinash Shetty, teaching and non-teaching staff were also present.
