Vijayawada: Over 400 members of Ayush NRHM Paramedical Employees Association from across the state participated in a protest rally demanding the government to immediately reinstate them and pay arrears. The peaceful protest rally started from Vijayawada Railway station and concluded at Dharna Chowk under tight police vigil on Friday.
CITU president AV Nageswara Rao participated in the protest expressing solidarity to Ayush paramedical employees. Addressing the gathering, Nageswara Rao alleged the government's negligence in solving the problems of Ayush employees in the state.
He demanded that the government immediately reinstate the sacked Ayush employees and pay the pending arrears. He said if the government ignores the demands of Ayush employees they would intensify their protest to bring pressure on the government and would lay siege to the Chief Minister’s Camp office in the days to come.
