Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna has said that though Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working round the clock for the development of the state, the opposition parties are trying to tarnish his image with false statements.

Participating in Nagara Darshini programme held in 45th division here on Thursday, he said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was implementing many welfare schemes though the state was passing through financial crisis.

Nagara Darshini programme was aimed to take the welfare schemes to the people and also know about their problems. Nagara Darshini programme was running successfully and the people were receiving it well, he said.

Naidu was trying to complete the irrigation projects as per schedule but, the Central government was blaming him for each and every thing to escape from its failures.

The people had confidence in Naidu and they were supporting him as he was an able administrator.

MLC Adireddy Appa Rao, Adireddy Vasu, deputy mayor Vasireddy Rambabu and others were present.
