Tirupati: Chittoor District Private Schools Association secretary N Viswanatham Reddy has warned the Centre that it would face agitations if it goes ahead with the closure of Mannavaram project.
Speaking after release a poster brought out by Andhra Pradesh Abhivridhi Porata Samithi (AAPS) here on Tuesday Viswantham said that the Centre should establish the NBPPL at Mannavaram at the earliest for providing employment to unemployed and for the growth of the backward Chittoor district.
AAPS president N Raja Reddy said that UPA did injustice to AP by dividing it and now the BJP adding salt to the wound by trying to shift Mannavaram project to Gujarat. He called up on the people to unite irrespective of party affiliations to take up mass movement to oppose shifting of the project.
