Amaravati: TDP will be in alliance with the Congress apart from other political parties in the country in determining the Prime Minister in 2019, hinted TDP leader and SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakara Rao in a press conference here in Secretariat on Friday.
TDP to alliance with Congress sure
He explained that the TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has decided to support those who will do justice to Andhra Pradesh.
Predicting that, BJP will win only 102 Lok Sabha seats, Congress will win 88 Lok Sabha seats and TDP will win 25 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 general elections, the TDP will emerge as king maker, he explained. He further added that, the TDP will unite all the forces against the BJP at central level.
Prabhakara Rao slammed BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao for his allegations on State Government. GVL alleged that TDP led state government has been misusing PD accounts and misappropriating funds of the exchequer. GVL demanded for CBI inquiry into that matter. Countering that, Prabhakara Rao said that the central government has recognized the state with many awards for good governance in transparent manner. He reminded that even BJP ruled states also are maintaining PD Accounts; and challenged GVL Narasimha Rao to demand for CBI probe on PD accounts in BJP ruled states, of which CAG report found fault.
He asked why GVL is not demanding inquiry on running off Vijay Malya, Neerav Modi, Lalit Modi. Rahul Gandhi alleged corruption in Rafael deal in Parliament. Why did not you demand for CBI inquiry in that matter. AP is number one in administrative matters in various issues, recognised by Central Government, he added.
