Kakinada: AP Mana Rajaka Sangam leaders submitted a memorandum to BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana on Wednesday, seeking SC status to Rajakas in the state.
President of the organization Dr Gollapudi Pardhasaradhi sought the intervention of Kanna in securing the status as 18 states in the country had extended this category to Rajakas.
The BJP Andhra Pradesh in-charge Sunil Deodhar, Kisan Morcha state president V Suruyanarayana Raju, Rajaka Sangam vice-president K Siva Prasad and others were present.
