Guntur: The Guntur Municipal Corporation conducted Swachhta Hi Seva programme at Sarada Colony here on Thursday.
Speaking on this occasion, GMC Public Health Officer Dr Sobha Rani explained how to segregate dry waste and wet waste in the house and observe every Saturday as dry day.
She explained need to keep surroundings clean to check spread of viral diseases and mosquitoes breeding.
She said the GMC was conducting the programme to bring awareness among the people.
