Pensions for poor Brahmins says AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation district coordinator Siripurapu Sridhar in Guntur

Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation district coordinator Siripurapu Sridhar urged the poor Brahmins to apply for pension under Kasyapa Aahara and Ashrayam pension scheme.

He said those who attained above 61 years of age, widows, handicapped, divorcees and orphans who attained 14 years of age are eligible for pension under this scheme.

Addressing a press meet held in the Brahmin Welfare Corporation office here on Friday, he said that the applicants’ family income should not exceed Rs 75,000 and added that for divorcee women and women who deserted from their husband their age should be 50 years.

He said the applicants not getting pension under the NTR Bharosa Scheme are eligible to apply and added that the eligible applicants would have to apply between October 1 and October 3 (within three days). 

He said the applicants would have to enclose Aadhaar Card, Income Certificate, Age Proof, Caste Certificate, for handicapped they should have to submit Physically challenged certificate, Andhra Bank or SBI passbook Xerox copies.
