Guntur: ‘Annadanam’ was conducted at Sri Lakshmi Tirupathamma temple located at Koritipadu Anjaneyapeta on the culmination of Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations on Friday. Veda Seeds executive director Tulasi Dharmacharan performed special puja and started annadanam.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that ‘annadanam’ is the most sacred act. He congratulated Eagles Youth Organisation for conducting the celebrations. He appealed to the youth to strive for an ideal society where there are no caste, religion and group discriminations.
He congratulated Eagles Youth Organisation for taking up social and devotional activities. Around 5,000 people participated in ‘annadanam’. Kiran, Mahesh, Bujji, Vijay, Chandu, Satheesh, Venkanna, Goutham, Mohan, Mani, Sreenu, Anil, Pandu, Naresh, Ogra, Gangadhar, local elders and devotees were present.
