Visakhapatnam: Responding to Collector Pravin Kumar’s call, a large number of government officials and employees rushed to the collector’s office and donating blood. The special blood donation camp will continue till 5 pm today.
After the number of viral fever cases increasing across the north coastal district, relatives of patients are thronging the blood banks and the reserves have come down. At a recent visit to the Indian Red Cross blood bank, the doctors informed the collector that need to arrange blood donation camps.
The collector called upon all the government officials and employees to come and donate blood to save the patients. Collector Pravin Kumar, Commissioner GVMC M.Hari Narayanan, Sub-Collector Paderu Balaji and several other district officials donated the blood.
