Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao, former MLA Siveri Soma shot dead by Maoists

Government whip and Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao was brutally attacked by Maoists today afternoon and has succumbed to grievous injuries. 

The Maoists also attacked former MLA Siveri Soma who was also dead on the spot. 

As per reports, around 50 Maoists have been involved in the attack which took place at Lipittiputtu of Dumbriguda mandal of Vishakapatnam

Kidari won as the assembly seat of Araku from YSRCP party in 2014 elections but later defected to Telugu Desam Party. The MLA is survived by wife and two sons. 

Earlier, a few posters have been surfaced stating that Kidari was in the hit list of the Maoists.
