Kakinada: Kaushal Godavari (Vikasa) which operates from East Godavari Collectorate organised a mega job mela at Chaitanya Institute of Science and Technology at Madhapatnam on Kakinada suburbs on Saturday.
A total of 40 multi-national companies conducted the interviews and 900 were selected out of 1,700 candidates attended from different parts of the district.
Kakinada Rural MLA P Anantalakshmi who attended as guest asked the youth in the district to utilize opportunities provided by Kaushal Godavari in providing employment opportunities in different organisations across the country.
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra also attended.
Some of the companies which attended for the selections were Genpact, Hetro Drugs and Tech Mahindra.
