Ongole: Paruchuri Kumari of Prakasam district has been selected to represent the Andhra Pradesh Power Lifting Association in the Senior Power Lifting Championship-2018 being held in Lucknow.
Kamakshi Care Hospital MD Tadivalasa Sevaraju and Glow Foundation chairman Naresh Panta handed over Rs.10,000 as financial assistance to her.
Devaraju, while congratulating Kumari, wished and hoped that she would secure a medal at the national level.
He said it was matter of pleasure that she had striven to overcome her poverty to shine in the field.
Devaraju also praised Bodyline Gym trainers Syam Prasad and Kiran Kumar for coaching Kumari.
Among those present were Budhati Chalapathi and members of Glow Foundation.
