Maris Stella College Principal Dr Sr Jasintha Quadras and former principal Sr Rekha felicitated Rishitha Jaladi, a student of first year B Sc, who won first prize in Gnana Bheri on September 20, and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh She won the prize for her presentation on Dairy Farm Technology
Vijayawada: Maris Stella College Principal Dr Sr Jasintha Quadras and former principal Sr Rekha felicitated Rishitha Jaladi, a student of first year B Sc, who won first prize in Gnana Bheri on September 20, and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. She won the prize for her presentation on ‘Dairy Farm Technology.’
College principal Dr Jasintha on Monday appreciated Rishitha for her dynamism, confidence, enthusiasm, potentiality, capability and said that she has a lot of potential in technical and communication skills.
It was a golden opportunity for her to utilise the platform to express how Indian economy is based on milk and milk products and to develop green fodder for cattle to improve the quality and quantity of milk, said the principal.
The college management felicitated Nitya Jeeva Prada, faculty of department of zoology for her encouragement and support to Rishita to participate in Gnana Bheri in front of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Rishita’s father J Ramachandra Rao, vice-principals, deans, lecturers and students were present.
