Guntur: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana said that the BJP cadre will protest across the state from October 22 to 27 to mount pressure on the state government seeking justice to the AgriGold depositors in the state.
Addressing a press conference in Guntur city on Wednesday, he said that 35-lakh AgriGold depositors were facing problems and alleged that the TDP leaders were purchasing AgriGold properties at low-cost in the auction with the support of the government and demanded CBI inquiry into this issue.
Kanna said that he will write a letter to the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh seeking the CBI probe into the AgriGold scam immediately. He thanked Rajnath Singh for announcing cooperation and assistance to extend helping hand to the Titli cyclone victims. He urged the TDP leaders to use good language for criticising leaders of other parties.
