Vijayawada: Development of Arya Vysya community was eclipsed by politics, said former MLA and YSRCP leader Vellampalli Srinivas.
He participated as a guest at a state-level Arya Vysya Maha Sabha held here on Sunday.
Srinivas raised objection for not organising sworn-in ceremony of the executive body even after three months of its election. He appealed to the newly elected executive body to focus on the development of the community.
MLC K Veerabhadra Swamy said elections were conducted unlawfully and injustice was done.
Nellore deputy mayor M Dwarakanath and other members from across the state participated in the Maha Sabha.
