Lawn Tennis Championship concludes in vijayawada

Vijayawada: A three-day State Lawn Tennis Championship 2018 concluded at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium and winners were given prizes here on Sunday.

The first State Lawn Tennis Championship was organised by Shivaan Technologies (OPC) Private Limited in association with Krishna District Lawn Tennis Association.

The prizes were distribution to the winners by chief guest Dr Radhakrishna and N Arjuna Rao, sports welfare inspector, South Central Railway, Vijayawada on the occasion.

In all, 65 players participated in the three-day championship from across the state. The winner of Under 10 year boys category is Rishi Siddhartha Reddy and the runner was Y Ishaan, for Under 12 years boys winner is Abranth Singh and the runner is J Jayanth.

The winner of under 14 years boys category is Kiliveti Suhrudh Amru and the runner is K Pranav. The winner of girls under 14 years category is S Yasasvi and the runner is P Lavanya.

The winner of under 16 years boys is Anantha Mani Muni and runner up is P Jaya Krishna Vamsi and the winner of girls under 16 years category BG Ashwitha and runner up is P Lavanya.

In mens category the winner is Ajay Kumar and the runner up is P J Vamsi and in mens double category the winners are Ajay Kumar and Dattu the runners are Kiliveti Suhrudh Amru and Nandan.
