Visakhapatnam: Over 5,000 enthusiasts and professionals have enrolled their names to participate in the third edition of night marathon to be held on Beach Road on November 3.

The ‘Kinley Vizag Bay Marathon 2018’ will begin from 5 pm onwards at RK beach. The run will be held in three categories half marathon (21.1K), 10 K and 5K (Fun Run). The medals for the run was unveiled by Collector K Pravin Kumar in the city on Wednesday. 

Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd, Director of Company Bottling operations, Vikas Sunkad said, “We are honoured to be part of this initiative. Physical fitness is most essential in everything that we do. Stay hydrated with kinley water and stay fit.”

He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was very glad to see such a mega event being organised in Visakhapatnam and welcomed the initiative. This event would spread more awareness on health-related activities, he said.

As of now 5,000 people have already registered. Both offline and online registrations are open. Further information and registration process is available in the website www.vizagbaymarathon.com.
