Misha Singh assumes charge as Sub-Collector

Vijayawada: Misha Singh, a 2016 batch IAS officer, assumed the charge as Vijayawada Sub-Collector on Monday in the presence of staff and media.
She is the native of Uttar Pradesh and studied in Lucknow.
Before assuming charge as Sub-Collector in Vijayawada, Misha had earlier worked as Assistant Collector in Vizag.
Speaking to reporters after assuming charge, Misha Singh said she would try to address the public problems as early as possible.
She said she would give priority to provide basic infrastructure facilities like roads, drinking water, power, medical and health facilities to the people.
Misha Singh said she was fortunate to get posting in Vijayawada. “Today is a very special day in my life and I would work sincerely with commitment to fulfill the responsibilities, she added.
The Sub-Collector received the applications from the people on the very first day and spoke to the applicants.
