Adarana scheme boon to BCs: ZP Chairperson

Chittoor: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu  is committed for the development  of all sections, particularly  back ward classes by  introducing  number of schemes besides BC Plan funds, said  ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash. Adarana scheme is a boon to  the BCs under which all the artisans are being covered, she said.

Inaugurating `Mega Assets Distribution Programme held  here near  Sports stadium on Monday, the ZP chairperson said that Chief Minister  instructed  to conduct  weekly assets  distribution programme in the district in which the role of the banks  would be very crucial.“  

A  pilot project is planned  to ground all the units  under  a single umbrella by  coordinating the schemes meant for SCs, STs, BCs, Minorities , Kapus and others. The beneficiaries will receive the loan sanction letters and the units should be grounded without delay,’’ she added.

She complimented District Collector P S Pradyumna  for taking  initiative in this direction to organise the Mega Assets Distribution Programme  at Chittoor, Tirupati, Madanapalli and Kuppam centres simultaneously. She stressed that  banks should rise  to the expectations of the  Government  in sanctioning  loans to  all the eligible beneficiaries  within the prescribed time limit. 

Chittoor MLA D A Satya Prabha  felt that it is an absolute need to create awareness among the lower sections about the welfare schemes. ``During Nagaradarsini programme,  we have received good  feedback over the financial implications of the poor people. The Government is committed to ensure a monthly income of Rs.10,000 to each family” she said. 

District Collector presided over the programme and explained the fundamental features of  Mega Assets Distribution Programme to be implemented in the district with the active participation of the banks and the Corporations meant for SCs,STs,BCs, Minorities and Kapus.

Chittoor MLC B N Rajasimhulu,  TDP leaders    Shanmugam, Chandra Prakash, Praveen Kumar, Balaji , Subramanaym   Joint Collector 2 V R Chandra Mouli , DRDA Project Director Ravi Prakash  Reddy and others were present.
