HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that a roundtable meeting will be held in the presence of Minorities Welfare Minister IMD Farooq shortly to address the pending problems of community
Visakhapatnam: HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that a roundtable meeting will be held in the presence of Minorities Welfare Minister IMD Farooq shortly to address the pending problems of community.
Interacting with local Muslim leaders who were led by for MLA and TDP leader Dr SA Rehman here on Tuesday in the city, he said a report would be prepared and submitted to the government to solve the problems in a stipulated period.
The minister discussed on Wakf Board lands, Shadikhana, house sites, encroachment of masjid lands, filling up of Urdu teacher posts and modernisation of burial grounds.
Later he invited Minorities Welfare Minister IMD Farooq to participate in the roundtable. The minister immediately agreed and interacted with the local Muslim leaders.
