Three die in two separate mishaps
According to Sub Inspector K Kumar Swamy, a tractor heading from Dharmavaram village towards Adduroad met with the accident near Gokulapadu as the truck detached from the engine after its lever pin was broken due to over speeding
Visakhapatnam: Three persons died in two accidents occurred in the district on Thursday. In the first incident, two persons died and four others sustained injuries when a truck, which was detached from the tractor engine after its lever pin was broken due to over speeding, fell into well beside the NH16 near Gokulapadu village of S Rayavaram mandal in Vizag district.
According to Sub Inspector K Kumar Swamy, a tractor heading from Dharmavaram village towards Adduroad met with the accident near Gokulapadu as the truck detached from the engine after its lever pin was broken due to over speeding.
Immediately the truck separated from the engine and ran separately and fell into the well beside the NH16. The deceased were identified as Pinapathruni Sanyasi Rao,52 and Punyamathula Arjun,50. The injured were shifted shifted to Nakkapalli government hospital.
In another incident, a speeding bike hit a road divider near Venkojipalem area after the rider lost his control on bike. The bike rider died on the spot. The identity of victim was yet to be ascertained. Venkojipalem police registered a case and shifted the body to KGH for postmortem.
