What makes women look beautiful and like Miss World? It is most commonly said that glamour is the major feature that showcases women’s beauty. But, the fact is glamour is just one among many factors that enhances the beauty of women.

A woman should thoroughly understand and nurture her inner abilities along with glamour attached. It is not just an attractive face but also having thinking mind, intelligence, caring heart, and eyes should speak.

During the launch of “How to look like Miss India” a book by Sathya Saran in Hyderabad, the author and former journalist gave insight into what makes the perfect Miss India.

The book showcases experiences of Miss India winners and lot of professional experts imparting suggestions on how to groom self-confidence, special skills, make up etc., to women in general, and provides a helping hand to aspiring beauty pageant contestants, who cannot afford training expenses.

Speaking about how self-confidence helps women to reach desired destinies, she gave an anecdote from 1994 Miss India pageant when Sushmita Sen won over Aishwarya Rai. “By winning, Sushmita Sen had turned down the expectations of many who thought Aishwarya Rai would be the winner.

She was the person who initially got disappointed and felt tensed with a doubt on how to win the contest with her dark complexion and tower like structure having long legs and hands. But, her destiny to success is only because of the confidence she eventually developed at different stages of her participation in her journey to become Miss India.”

When asked about what triggered her to write this book? “It wasn’t my idea at all. I ran away when asked to write a small book of 15000 words that will help Miss India aspirants but eventually my writing work started to explore.

The initial 15000 words draft, which caught the eyes of multiple book reviewers forced me to write another 15000 words,” She shared. The 30,000 words book is also available in mobile phone version.

“The book is almost a mini piece that brings in the qualities that makes one to win Miss India and has even reasons along with instances on why one remains as runner up,” she pointed.

The Editor of Diligent Media Corporation Ltd, said that, it wasn’t an easy task for her to obtain information from the former Miss India Winners. “Amongst all, Sushmita gave her time for about one month that helped me to paint significant aspects of her journey”.

Saran also spoke about her fear for public speaking. “Confidence in me jumped after witnessing Sushmita speak with ease at a press conference after winning the Miss India crown.

The kind of confidence I have developed seeing her has made me capable to deliver fearless speechless addressing vast gatherings.”“The book not only helps Miss India aspirants but also trains common women who want to foster their way of living and create an identity,” she adds.
