Tata Zest in a new sporty avatar – 2016 Auto Expo
Tata Motors has showcased a one-off version of Zest, which is much sportier and luxurious than the Zest variants currently on offer. This new Tata Zest variant was customized by their in-house team at Tata Personalization.
Delhi: Tata Motors has showcased a one-off version of Zest, which is much sportier and luxurious than the Zest variants currently on offer. This new Tata Zest variant was customized by their in-house team at Tata Personalization.
Tata Zest on display at 2016 Auto Expo features a new sportier bumper in the front and rear. It also houses LED DRLs inside the headlamp cluster along with projector headlamps. Other updates include side sill, spoiler on the boot-lip at the rear, roof finished in piano black, and black thick border on the rear windscreen.
On the inside, Tata Zest gets dual tone dashboard in white and black. Apart from this, it also gets plush seats covered in premium leather with white stitching. For the rear passengers, at the back of front passenger seat there is a hanger for placing your coat, while behind the driver seat, is a multi-function tablet, which is connected to the internet, allows you to check emails, watch videos, play music, and much more.
Engine option remains unchanged. Tata Zest is offered in a choice of 1.2-liter petrol Revotron engine and a 1.3-liter MultiJet diesel 4-cyl engine. The former is rated at 90 PS and 140 Nm, while the latter is rated at 90 PS and 200 Nm. Transmission option on offer includes five-speed MT or AMT.
