Ameo most affordable car from Volkswagen
VW Ameo was launched earlier this month at a starting price of INR 5.14 lakh.Built at an investment of INR 720 crore, Ameo is the most affordable car on offer from VW India. Available only with a petrol engine as of today, price ranges from INR 5.14 lakh to INR 6.91 lakh, ex-showroom.

Showcased earlier this year, VW Ameo bookings opened last month. Available only with a petrol engine option, VW India officials did not reveal the number of bookings they have received for the Ameo till date, but they did say that the response has been positive.
The petrol engine option on offer is a 1.2 liter three cylinder MPI engine which is rated to deliver 75 PS power and 110 Nm torque. Mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, mileage claimed stands at 17.83 kmpl.
With deliveries set to commence from next month, Volkswagen India has released the first ever TVC of Ameo. As of now, it can only be viewed online, while the same will go on air across television networks in the country from tomorrow. You can watch the TVC below.
