Manufactured only in the UK, China and India, new Range Rover Evoque facelift was launched in India on back in November 2015. Seen with subtle updates on the exterior and interiors, along with new added features, it is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options.

First launched in 2011, Range Rover Evoque has become Land Rover’s best selling car globally. It was in March 2015 that Land Rover India started CKD operations of the Evoque from their plant in Pune. This saw the price of Evoque decline by INR 20 lakh, as compared to the price of CBU Evoque. This resulted in Evoque sales increasing by 30%, as compared to what was expected.

Land Rover India has further slashed price of the Evoque Petrol SE variant. Earlier it was retailed at INR 53.2 lakh, while now it is now being sold at INR 51.2 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi. The price has been slashed a day after Jeep India announced a more affordable Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Petrol variant priced from INR 56 lakh. Land Rover India has also slashed price of Discovery Sport Petrol HSE by INR 7 lakh, which now retails at INR 49.5 lakh.

New Range Rover Evoque facelift comes with full-LED headlamps, new grille, new alloys, and new bumper in the front. On the inside, Evoque gets new colours, premium material, 8 inch touchscreen system, new seats, and new door casings. New features on board the Evoque facelift includes – head-up display, rear seat entertainment, 825 Watts MeridianTM Surround Sound System with 17 speakers, surround camera system, and hands-free tailgate function.

Engine options on board with the SE variant include 2.2 liter diesel engine generating 188 bhp and 420 Nm torque. This is delivered to all four wheels via a 9 speed autobox. The petrol 2.0 liter on offer delivers 240 PS and 340 Nm torque. It is also mated to a 9 speed gearbox which delivers power to all four wheels.
