Vijayawada Municipal Corporation drive on vacant land taxes

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation launched a special drive to collect long pending vacant land taxes (VLT). Commissioner J Nivas directed the officials to identify such vacant lands for which VLT had not been paid for a long time. The VMC staff arranged caution boards in the vacant lands warning the owners of the sites to pay taxes immediately and if they failed action would be taken against th
