Honda has launched the CB150R in Thailand, is priced from 99,800 Thai Baht (approximately Rs 1.93 lakh). The CB150R is the production version of the 150SS Racer concept that Honda had showcased at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show. The 150SS Racer was shown as a Cafe Racer.

The CB150R carries a new design language and Honda has tried making the production version look similar to the concept motorcycle. The production version retains the round full LED headlamp and the up-side down forks at the front. The CB150R also comes feature-loaded. It gets a full-LCD instrument cluster, petal disc brakes at both ends, 10-spoke alloy wheels, 110 section tyre up front and 150 section tyre at the rear and ABS with G-Sensor.

The Honda CB150R draws power from a 149cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that comes matched to a six-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures haven’t been revealed by Honda. The motorcycle tips the scale at 123 kgs and comes with a fuel-tank capacity of 8.5-litres.
The motorcycle is available in a choice of four colours – Millenium Red, Pearl Grey, Black and Matte Green and in four variants – CB150R, CB150R ABS, CB150R Scramble Cafe and CB150R Street Cafe. Honda has put no word on the launch of the CB150R in the Indian market yet and considering the price it sells in Thailand, the CBR maker might not launch this in India (too pricey for a 150cc motorcycle).
