TVS Apache goes matte
TVS has launched the Apache 160 and 180 in a new Syrah Matte Red colour in India. The entire Apache range is now available with Matte Red colours.
TVS has launched the Apache 160 and 180 in a new Syrah Matte Red colour in India. The entire Apache range is now available with Matte Red colours.
The Matte Red colour comes with an Eggshell finish and is developed using a twin component thermosetting acrylic paint system with a special pigment to create a Matte Clear process. As seen in the images, the bikes’ front mudguard, fuel-tank, rear seat cowl and engine cowl have been done up in Matte Red.
The Apache 160 is powered by a 159.7cc single-cylinder engine that produces 15.2 HP of power and 13.1 Nm of torque while the Apache 180 is powered by a 177.4cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 17.03 HP of power and 15.5 Nm of torque. Both these engines come paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
The rear disc brake in the Apache 160 is optional and so is the dual-channel ABS on the Apache 180. The Matte Red edition Apache 160 and 180 are priced at a premium of Rs. 1000/- over the regular colour variants.
