The Mahindra Gusto RS has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs 48,180 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Considering Mahindra’s statement given last month, that it would exit the mass-market two-wheeler segment and focus on premium bikes, the Gusto RS could be the automaker’s last product to be launched in the mass market segment. It probably is stock clearance.

The company is also offering a cashback of Rs 6000 on the new scooter if purchased through the PayTM app. However, this offer is valid until October 20 only. Mechanically there aren’t any changes to the Gusto RS. Powering it is a 109cc single-cylinder, four-stroke motor that produces eight HP of power and nine Nm of torque.
The engine comes paired to a CVT automatic gearbox. The scooter continues to get features like height adjustable driver’s seat, remote flip key, find-me lamps and guide lamps.

Suspension duties are via telescopic forks with air springs up front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter comes with 130 mm drum brakes both at the front and rear.
