The Toyota Yaris targets sedans such as the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Toyota aims to deliver around 4000 units to its dealerships by the end of May. The City, Verna and the Ciaz too sell in the same vicinity. However, these cars are also equipped with a diesel engine, unlike the Yaris. In April 2018, for instance, 5116 units of Ciaz rolled out, 4,077 units of Verna and 3,366 units of the City.
