Sonam Kapoor Ki shaadi with Anand Ahuja

Bollywood actress and style icon Sonam Kapoor tied a knot with businessman Anand Ahuja in an elaborate affair. The wedding included a mehendi function, Anand Karaj and a grand reception atThe Leela Hotel, Mumbai. The members of the family attended the wedding ceremony along with alot of bollywood bigwigs that included actors, stylists, designers and politicians as well.

The dress code for mehendi was white and wedding was pink, while the reception turned from a formal to a casual event in no time.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was spotted in an Abu Jani lehnaga on her mehendi day and her custom-made bridal lehnaga in red and gold was designed by Anuradha Vakil. Her reception outfit was by her dear friend Anamika Khanna, but what stole the show was Anand Ahuja's choice of shoes (sneakers) at the reception who came ready for an all night party.

The wedding was attended by the couple’s close friends and colleagues from the industry. Apart from the family members - Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and wife Maheep Kapoor with their kids, Marwah's, bollywood bigwigs like Amitabh Bachchan along with Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao. Rani Mukerji, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kiron Kher attended the ceremony to wish the newlyweds.

Kareena Kapoor Khan walked in with Saif Ali Khan and baby Taimur in tow. Among her close friends, were Jacqueline Fernandez who stood out in a pink Anita Dongre lehenga, while Swara Bhasker was a vision in a blue Abu-Sandeep ensemble. Karan Johar stole the show with his dressing as well as his dance performance through out the wedding.

From mehendi to reception all the guest were seen having a great time in a true 'Big Fat Punjabi Wedding' style. Everyone from the industry attended the reception in their fashionable best.
