Housejoy forays into Hyderabad
Housejoy, a leading home services provider, has launched its service in Hyderabad, the 13th city in India to have its operations.
Hyderabad: Housejoy, a leading home services provider, has launched its service in Hyderabad, the 13th city in India to have its operations. Launched by industry veterans Arjun Kumar and Sunil Goel in January last year, it has been conceived with the aim to bring a wave of change in the home services market in the country.
It offers a host of services from technical services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs, home appliance repairs, computer repairs to home keeping services such as home cleaning, furniture and upholstery cleaning, pest control services. It also offers doorstep services including high quality laundry, beauty, fitness services.
“Hyderabad being the fourth most populous city in India with over 7.5 million residents with a significant cosmopolitan population and being home to major IT MNCs like Microsoft, Google, Amazon and many IT parks, we fervently believe the grounds are fertile and has huge market potential for online services,” said Saran Chatterjee, CEO, Housejoy.
Pointing out that there was a huge distance between the actual location of the demand and the location of the service providers in the recently developed areas of Hyderabad like the Hitec City and Gachibowli, he said, “Most of these areas are densely populated with high-rise and upscale apartment societies.
