Hyderabad: Medical tourism industry experts and other related professionals from over 50 countries are expected to take part in the third edition of International India Medical Tourism Congress (IIMTC 2016) which will be held on the city outskirts on September 3-4.

Supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Telangana, this two-day event is aimed at making India a preferred global medical tourism hub. It will also support the medical tourism stakeholders in India and other parts of the world.

“The medical tourism industry has a huge potential of revenue generation in India. This third edition of IIMTC at Hyderabad will be a step forward in the reorganization of the medical tourism industry and will throw up innumerable opportunities to service providers and is pegged to be a major stake holder in this niche industry segment,” said Dr HN Garg, Chairman, IIMTC.

Representatives from CIS countries, the Middle East, African countries, besides, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health, Health and Ayush departments, Govt of India, chambers of commerce, international associations, academicians as well as healthcare professionals and a significant number of top-of-the-line Indian healthcare providers, including some big names, will be present at the conference to showcase their excellence in the healthcare sector.
