Data Xgen launches email service in Telugu
IT firm Data XGen Technologies Pvt Lt, part of Data Infosys, on Monday said it launched free linguistic email address under the name ‘Datamail’ which would allow users to create email ids in eight Indian languages including Telugu.
Hyderabad: IT firm Data XGen Technologies Pvt Lt, part of Data Infosys, on Monday said it launched free linguistic email address under the name ‘Datamail’ which would allow users to create email ids in eight Indian languages including Telugu. It also offers similar services in English and foreign languages such as Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
“Indian languages account for less than 0.1 per cent content on world wide web, as per IAMAI report. Also over 89 per cent population is a non-English speaking which is unable to read and communicate via email as the language utilised is English.
In order to contribute towards Digital India and Make in India initiatives, we launched the free Datamail email service which would allow people from across India to communicate in eight regional languages,” said Dr Ajay Data, founder and CEO, Data XGen Technologies. The company is gearing up to offer the email service in 22 languages in near future.
