Telangana IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the conference at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre here.

Hyderabad: The ninth edition of ICT4D Conference will take place in Hyderabad during 15-18 May 2017. The conference is a multi-disciplinary gathering of inspiring leaders, thought-provoking speakers, and engaged participants from around the world to explore how innovation in technology is increasing the impact of development work to make a measurable difference in millions of people’s lives.

Telangana IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao will inaugurate the conference at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre here. Under the theme ‘From Innovation to Impact’, the ICT4D conference will bring together public, private and civil society organizations from across the humanitarian and international development community to not only discuss the latest trends in digital inclusion, but the wider use of data to support achievement of the global sustainable development goals.

The eight conference tracks focus on agriculture, health, education, livelihoods, disaster management, environmental protection, partnerships & cross sector solutions, data-driven adaptation and digital financial inclusion.

Jayant Sinha, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Cherian Thomas, CEO, World Vision India, Al Lutz, Chief Information Security Officer, World Vision International, Dr BVR Mohan Reddy, Executive Chairman, Cyient, Rebecca Moore, Director (Google Earth), Google, and several other experts will take part in the conference.
