Hyderabad: Godrej Security Solutions, a part of Godrej Group, is gearing up to launch Wi-Fi enabled CCTVs called Eve series which will enable people to enhance surveillance security at their homes at affordable price points. The new home security product is capable of directly streaming videos to the mobile handsets of the home owners, and helps them to watch over their loved ones from across the world.

“The Eve series of CCTVs also equipped with an auto-record function based on motion sensing. The new range is priced from Rs 5,500 to Rs 9,900,” Mehernosh Pithawalla, Associate Vice President and Global Head - Marketing, Sales & Innovation, Godrej Security Solutions Division, Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co. Ltd, told the media here on Tuesday.

Pointing out that only three per cent of households in India were equipped with home security products, he said the new product range being launched by the company would increase the penetration. “We enjoy 80 per cent market share in the home security business which is estimated to be between Rs 300-350 crore,” he explained. Godrej Security Solutions, which did a business of Rs 230 crore in last fiscal, is looking at Rs 280 crore this fiscal.
