Hyderabad: Automaker Mahindra & Mahindra on Monday unveiled Jeeto Minivan, a passenger vehicle that can used for providing last mile connectivity in urban and semi-urban areas.
Developed on Jeeto platform and being built at the company’s Zaheerabad plant in Telangana, the minivan will be available in two body forms: hardtop and semi hardtop. It will be priced from Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom Hyderabad) for BS-IV diesel variant, but the company intends to offer petrol and CNG versions
“The launch of the minivan will further extend Jeeto platform for last mile passenger transportation. This new product presents an ideal option for three-wheeler customers to upgrade their vehicles, as we enable them to rise by driving positive change in their lives,” A Sriniwas, Senior Vice President – Product Development, Automotive Division, Mahindra.
Powered by m-Dura, a direct injection (DI) and BS-IV emission compliant engine from the Mahindra stable, the minivan has a power output of 16 bhp and torque of 38 Nm at its disposal. “It has the ability to do more trips and delivers best-in-class fuel efficiency of 26 km/l,” explained the Mahindra’s senior executive.
