After putting on 15 kilos and looking plump in her recent romantic comedy ‘Size Zero’, Anushka Shetty is now on a special diet and fitness regime. The latest we hear is that the diva has started to work out for her role as Devasena in ‘Baahubali 2’.

With ‘Size Zero’ being wrapped up, the actress is all set to stun the audience in ‘shapely’ avatar. A source close to the actress confirms, “Anushka was eating quite a lot of ‘home-cooked’, skipping her regular diet and not even going gym to look the part in ‘Size Zero’. Given that she needs to sport a feminine look in ‘Baahubali 2’, her mission is to lose oodles of weight naturally.

A 45-minute workout at the gym and a strictly monitored staple diet are the in-things at this point in time.” For one who was on a high carbohydrate diet till recently, it is all protein stuff that she is consuming.

“Anushka is on a strict workout and dietary regime. She has been staying away from carbs, oily and calorie-rich food and is having around 5-6 small meals every day.

Her meal includes a combination of dry fruits with fresh fruit juice, salads, sprouts, soups and veggies for getting the physical transformation”, explains the source. Anushka will join the sets in January, along with other lead cast.
