Vimala Raman to act with Nagarjuna
Looks like K Raghavendra Rao is pulling off a casting coupe for his forthcoming film on Baba Hathi Ram, starring Nagarjuna. After Anushka and Pragya Jaiswal, the director has now roped in Vimala Raman in the biopic.

Apparently, the Sydney-born actress, who was last seen in ‘Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi’ in Tollywood, is elated to be part of the prestigious project. Although her role has been kept under the wraps, sources say that her part will be significant.
A source close to the unit confirms, “Vimala recently met the director in Hyderabad and even had a narration. The actress was thrilled with her role and quickly gave the nod.” Vimala, who earlier shared screen space with Nagarjuna in a jewelry commercial, is currently shooting for Malayalam film ‘Oppam’ opposite Mohanlal.
