Ashna cast opposite Naveen Chandra
Ashna Zaveri, who made her debut in the Tamil film industry opposite Santhanam in the comic caper Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (VPA), is now foraying into Telugu. The pretty actress has been roped in as the leading lady in the forthcoming Telugu film ‘Burrakatha’, directed by Sanjeev Kumar.
Ashna Zaveri, who made her debut in the Tamil film industry opposite Santhanam in the comic caper Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (VPA), is now foraying into Telugu. The pretty actress has been roped in as the leading lady in the forthcoming Telugu film ‘Burrakatha’, directed by Sanjeev Kumar.
The fashion-stylist-turned actress is paired opposite Naveen Chandra in the comic drama. While the former model played an affectionate homely girl and a village belle in her Tamil films, she would be seen as an urban lass in her Tolly debut.
A source close to the development reveals, “Sanjeev was looking for a young actress who looks glamorous yet bring out emotions. Since the leading lady role is a performance-oriented one and not just a glam prop, the filmmaker saw Ashna’s previous films and has zeroed in on her.”
Asna is currently working on her language (Telugu) and shall join the sets soon. The project will go on floors soon and Sunny Leone will be seen in a significant role.
